Having been given the text from the MOMA book Architecture and Furniture Aalto, we were to redesign the book basing our design choices off of our research on Alvar Aalto, the great Finish architect. My grid design for this book was inspired by the structure of his Baker House design, as well as his Paimio chair design. This was also the first book that I perfect bound by hand.
